STUDENTS OF RESTORATION

Our students, grades 6th through 12th gather weekly to open God’s Word and hang out with one another. This is a great time for students to build relationships and accountability with one another, and learn how to live as followers of Jesus in today’s culture.

WEEKLY GATHERINGS

Our students gather weekly on Wednesday nights
from 6:15pm to 7:45pm!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Right before our gatherings start, our students engage in fellowship and some games such as 9-square and Spikeball! At 6:15pm we'll start our gathering with a game or two and then some worship performed by our own student worship team. Then your student will get to listen to a message preached on the current series being taught. Right before the evening ends, your student will get to connect with other students in their corresponding grade and gender in small groups with their small group leaders. The evening ends at 7:45pm and then you may come and pick up your student!

Some of our small group leaders will be coming with us to Summer Camp too, so your student will see some of the same leaders they see at a Wednesday gathering!
Q: How much is camp?
A: The cost of camp is $400.00 per registrant, which covers: Transportation, meals at camp, a camp t-shirt, and all camp experiences. FAQs

Q: Can my student come to SOR?
A: SOR is open to all 6th - 12th graders on Wednesday nights! We determine your grade level by what classroom you sit in. For example, if your student finishes elementary school, they are not considered a 6th grader until the fall school year begins and they are enrolled in a 6th grade classroom. If your student graduates high school, they are still considered a 12th grader until the school year begins and they would no longer be in a high school classroom.
Q: What happens at SOR?
A: Here is an example schedule!
6:00 — Doors Open
6:20 — Enter the Worship Center
6:21 — Opening Game + Announcements
6:30 — Worship
6:50 — Sermon
7:15 — Response Time
7:20 — Small Groups
7:45 — Pray Out and Dismiss
Q: Will my student be safe at SOR?
A: Yes! Our safety team is present with us every Wednesday night.
Q: Is there a dress code for my student?
A: We follow Berkley county’s dress code for any SOR event, on or off campus. If your student can’t wear it to school, they shouldn’t wear it to SOR! If we go to an off campus event with their own dress code, we will follow that.
Q: How do I know what’s happening at SOR?
A: We send out weekly emails with upcoming events, questions for you to discuss at home, what our sermon will be on, and much more information! If you currently do not receive the emails, please reach out to cody@lifeatrestoration.com.
